AUTHOR'S VISITS

 Both Dan and Jay are available to visit schools and make presentations to conferences, assemblies or classrooms.

For Dan, to find out about availability during the hockey season, contact must be made through the media department of the Mighty Ducks.  Dan has been the keynote speaker at graduation exercises, addressed assemblies, been a chapel speaker, and has addressed classrooms. He generally addresses issues of character and sportsmanship.  Dan appreciates contributions to his Charitable Trust Fund for honorariums that may be appropriate

Jay has been a keynote speaker at sportsmanship conferences and has been a presenter at state Reader and Social Studies Conferences.  He also has spoken at sports association banquets and functions, and has addressed school assemblies and classrooms. Jay has addressed issues of the role of youth sports in society as well has discussed their books in classrooms from the standpoint of both language arts and the historical periods about which they write.  Suggested honorariums are $200 minimum for the first hour or talk and $50 for each additional hour or presentation plus traveling expenses.  Fees are negotiable.  Non-profit organizations will get special consideration.
